The short version

1. What we collect

We collect no personal data. We do not operate servers that receive data from the Apps. We cannot see what you type, photograph, scan or calculate.

2. Data stored on your device

The Apps store the following on your device only, using Apple's local storage (UserDefaults, app storage, and the app's shared container for widgets). We cannot read it. It is deleted when you delete the app.

Some history is kept only while the app is running and is cleared when you quit or relaunch: PassZ recent passwords, HashZ recent hashes, and the ToolzPad Desktop clipboard history (up to 50 items).

3. Permissions and how each is used

Each permission is requested only when you use the tool that needs it. You can deny any permission; only that tool is affected.

4. Network connections

5. AI assistants (ToolzPad Desktop MCP server)

ToolzPad Desktop includes an MCP server that lets AI assistants you choose (for example Claude or Cursor) run ToolzPad tools. The server runs on your Mac and talks only to the assistant you connect. Any data you send through an assistant, including tool outputs, is handled by that assistant's provider under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive it.

6. Analytics, advertising and third parties

7. Website

The website at toolzpad.uncle-z.com and uncle-z.com uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we run on our own server. Umami sets no cookies and records page views in aggregate. It keeps a small value in your browser's local storage to count visits. Your browser or hosting provider may keep standard server logs.

8. Children

The Apps do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because they collect no personal data. The Apps do not require an account.

9. Your rights

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022) and similar laws, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection regarding personal data held about you. Because the Apps do not send us personal data, we normally hold none. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will confirm.

To remove data the Apps store on your device, delete the app.

10. Security

Data stays on your device, protected by your device's security. We have no server-side data to breach. You are responsible for securing your device and any backups you make (iCloud or Mac backup), which are handled by Apple.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change, and the current version will always be at this page. Material changes will also be noted in the Apps' release notes.
